Voice & Data and CyberMedia Research had organised a Enterprise Satisfaction Survey in communication services to benchmark the quality of services provided by Indian telecom operators. Amongst the 520 enterprises that were surveyed Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has secured second position after a private telecom group (TTSL & Tata Communications) in overall satisfaction in enterprise communication services.
The focus of this survey was to gauge satisfaction level of large and medium enterprises with respect to communication services. The 520 large and medium companies that were surveyed covered all types of services – ISDN, VSAT,domestic leased lines, IPLC, VPN, IP-centrex, mobile application and others.
The different parameters on which enterprise satisfaction was rated are: pre-implementation, implementation, network quality, after sales support, customer care, billing services, and service level agreement(SLA).
The major highlight of this survey has been the fact that MTNL which providing telecom services in just two circle – Mumbai and Delhi, scored second almost across all the parameters like , SLA index, Network quality, billing, after sales support, overall enterprise satisfaction, etc.
It also highlights MTNL’s standing in this cut throat competition as it scored ahead of most of the other leading private pan india telecom operators.
