LG will launch its pocket-sized mobile printer named ‘LG PD233 Pocket Photo’ in India in the month of June at Rs 14,999, said an LG executive in an interview with IBNLive. The device was showcased in India at the LG Tech Show 2013, which took place in the capital on Tuesday.
The portable printer can be connected to smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth, NFC. It is claimed to provide excellent wireless connectivity, making it an ideal companion for both Android and iOS smartphones.
The PD233 Pocket Photo is light in weight and easily fitting in the palm or inside a jacket when not in use. The LG Pocket Photo produces 5.1 x 7.6cm (2 x 3 inch) prints.
It employs inkless printing technology from Zink that eliminates the need for expensive ink cartridges.
